What type of church is Grace EBC?

Grace Evangelical Bible Church is a fellowship of believers in the Lord Jesus Christ. We are a non-denominational, Bible-centered church. Our desire is to glorify God through every aspect of our lives. We are purposely and actively involved in reaching our generations for Christ. We rely on the work of the Holy Spirit to draw men into the saving knowledge of Christ’s sacrificial death on the cross as payment for our sins. Believers personally acknowledge this by faith and are then given the gift of the Holy Spirit to lead, guide, and encourage them to live a life in accordance with His teaching and commands. We do this in an environment where believers are growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ.

Where are you located?

We are located at near the center of Newbury, Ohio, just south of Newbury’s Town Hall and the intersection of Route 87 (Kinsman Rd.) and Auburn. Visit our Contact page for more info.

What should I wear?

Take a look at our congregation, and you’ll see a number of clothing styles. Whether you prefer ties and suit coats or polos and jeans, we here at Grace won’t judge you or your outfit. We’d much rather spend our time enjoying the love and the life God has for us.

I’m a first-timer, what should I do?

We’re glad you asked. If this is your first time at Grace–or any church for that matter–don’t fear! Come as you are: be yourself, keep an open mind, and be prepared to meet joyful people whose lives have been radically and beautifully changed by Jesus Christ. We’re excited to meet you!

What is your service like?

At Grace, our service consists of worship through contemporary music, a time of prayer, giving of offering, and dynamic, Bible-based preaching. We also take communion once a month. If you’re unfamiliar with these characteristics of a church, or if you have any questions, feel free to contact us.

What’s worship all about?

The goal of the Music Ministry is to bring glory to God by helping to lead the congregation in corporate worship, using a variety of psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs. Our emphasis is on congregational participation, so we strive to select music that is singable. Music is selected carefully to ensure that each song is theologically accurate, conducive to worship, and musically excellent. Our focus is on God and bringing glory to Christ, God’s Son.
